Contract of assignment and observation

When you assign Advocatenkantoor / Octrooi- en merkenbureau Koomen en Brons you conclude an agreement with the public partnership  Advocatenkantoor / Octrooi- en merkenbureau Koomen en Brons. Your case will be handled by one of the lawyers. This lawyer will assist and represent  you. In the event of the absence of this lawyer, another lawyer will observe your case.

The costs involved with our services and any expenses to be made on your behalf will in so far as possible be estimated in advance. Our fees and expenses will in general be debited once per month, or depending on the nature of the case, after we have provided and reported specific services in the case.

Advocatenkantoor / Octrooi– en Merkenbureau Koomen en Brons is insured against professional liabilities with AIG Europe, Nederland, Postbus 8606 AP Rotterdam T: 010-4535455.

Any liability shall be limited to the amount which is paid out under our professional liability policy in the matter concerned, to be increased by the amount of the deductible.

Advocatenkantoor /Octrooi- en Merkenbureau Koomen en Brons does not keep a Foundation for  third party funds. In  case a counter party or any third party is required to make a payment to you (an assigned monetary claim, litigation costs and such) the counter party or third party in question will be requested  to make the payment directly to you on a bank account indicated by you.
